Email Time! I got caught up in the sage of your Brown Widow spider after trying to identify what kind of spider we occasionally see outside. I usually direct our pest control guy to leave spiders alone, but he was vehement about wanting to take this one out. He called it a "Brown Widow Spider" and... well, frankly I giggled. I thought he was making it up. I asked him to hold off and allow me to investigate it. Now I'm torn. This spider isn't aggressive, so I'm inclined to leave it alone and allow it to help the pest control guy kill the really bad bugs- you know- the flying straight at your head cockroaches?? Yeah. Those.

On the other hand, I have an almost 3 year old and a 9 year old who love to play on the porch. (Where my new friend is sometime seen re-making her web after a good rain. By the way, she's anal. Her web is usually beautifully geometric, perhaps we should name her, "Charlotte"?)

Upon reading this, I had to check out your company's page. I was CRYING with laughter over your descriptions of the archetypical plumber! I actually have Ferran Plumbing coming out later this week. Your description is apt.

So- thank you for the delightful brown widow saga, I can't wait to show it to my son. Also- it's a relief to know that someone is out there, a phone call away, to break into my house and "humanely" take out the flying cockroach that has me trapped in the bathroom sniveling and crying. Keep up the good work! Meridith
